Summary of Position: The .NET Developer position will be reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer. You will be responsible for assisting in the development of a new web platform (front-end and back-end development).  You should be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and be able to adapt to constantly changing requirements. You must be a self-motivated overachiever that can thrive in an environment with minimal guidance.   Candidates must also have exceptional problem solving, and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.  You must possess sufficient technical depth to communicate with development and other internal teams at a peer level as well as convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals.  You must be able to understand the purpose of the larger systems you will be programming for, and design accordingly.  

Skills and Qualifications:
·        2+ years of hands-on .NET development working on both small and large-scale web applications from conception to release
·        2+ years of experience of professional development using C# and ASP.NET
·        2+ years of experience of professional development using HTML/XHTML, CSS, Javascript/AJAX
·        Advanced knowledge of .NET 3.5+ frameworks
·        Working knowledge of jQuery 1.4+
·        SQL Server 2008 development (stored procedures, triggers, views) * 3+ years
·        Comfortable handling both front-end and back-end work as needed
·        Working knowledge of how to both integrate and author web services
·        Track record of writing clean, well-commented code with both performance and scalability in mind
·        Fluency using Visual Studio 2008
·        Solid UI design skills and experience developing applications for non-technical end-users
·        Solid object-oriented design skills
·        Good communication skills and ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks  

Bonus Skills:
·       Experience using Visual Studio 2010
·       Experience programming using the .NET 4 framework
·       Experience with ASP.NET MVC
