Primary responsibilities include: - The research, specification, estimation of effort, interviewing of subject matter experts, writing, testing, reviewing, updating, and the release of the required documents. - Creating and updating Technical Documentation including User Guides, Installation & Maintenance Manuals, Technical Maintenance Manuals, and Software Manuals. - Providing status reports of Technical Publications development at project meetings. - Illustrating Technical Documentation as required with appropriate photographs, drawings, diagrams and screen captures. - Creating Technical Bulletins to publicize Product Releases, Product Issues, and Obsolescence. - Creating Release Notes for Product Releases, as required. The preferred candidate should possess the following: Excellent oral and written communication skills; Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources: Ability to take strategic direction from executive management; Initiative; Ability to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance.
